I heard on the news yesterday that people who are on antidepressants need to be careful in extreme heat, as they are at high risk of illness from it.

I live in Ottawa, On, Canada, and we are going through a huge heatwave - 50C with the humidity - right now, and so the news has been talking a lot about high risk groups, and how to stay cool, and they mentioned this. I myself am on antidepressants, and have also always been sensitive to the heat, but in recent years even moreso. i had NEVER heard anything like this before, even from my doctor herself... so i am wondering if this is actually true or not. Needless to say... i'll be taking extra percautions

Just a heads up to you guys, in case you are working with people on anti-depressants like i do!

peace, love, and hugs
